The Tuskegee Airmen – High Flyers

Red Tails

They fought bravely for a country that hated, feared and despised them. After giving their all and making in some cases, the ultimate sacrifice, they returned to Lynching, Jim Crow and outright hatred. Their feats of bravery put lie to the notion that African-Americans did not have what it took to be air force pilots. Their list of accomplishments as a group and individually is long and storied, and I hope they are never forgotten.
